  • Pre-assembled Gable Roof or Utility Garden Sheds Are Versatile and Easy to Install

A gable roof garden shed or larger utility shed can be purchased in a box online or from a hardware store, but having to assemble it yourself means a large degree of patience and skill is required, particularly when the instructions provided are unclear or incomplete, as you unwrap and sort through hundreds of different parts. Instead, save yourself precious time and effort with pre-assembled sheds that you can easily install yourself, because most of the work has already been done for you.

  • Reasons and Types of House Underpinning

  • 3 Ways A Town Planning Professional Can Help To Get Council Approval For Your Home Extension Project

Adding an extension to an existing home is a popular choice for many Australian homeowners. It's a great way to increase your living space and add value to your property. Along with coming up with a successful design, you'll need to get planning permission from your local council before you can begin the construction process. If you live in an urban area that's densely populated, then getting planning permission can sometimes be a difficult task.

  • Two Reasons to Hire a Land Surveyor Before Building a House on a Plot of Land

If you intend to build a house on a plot you have purchased, you should have land surveyors draw up a survey before you begin the construction process. Here are two reasons why it is important to do this. To prevent boundary-related delays and disruptions One of the most important jobs that a land surveyor performs is establishing exactly where the boundaries of the property lie. If you decide not to hire a surveyor and do not, therefore, determine where the property boundaries begin and end, you could end up accidentally performing construction work on the land adjacent to your plot, which does not legally belong to you.

  • No Garage? Consider the Outstanding Benefits of Carports

Although a garage is one of the most convenient spaces in a house, not all residences will have this room. Thus, some people may decide to construct their own, but they do not bear in mind that garages are usually planned for when the blueprints of a house are being conceptualised. Therefore, choosing to add this as an extension could end up affecting your neighbours or may not even be allowed by your home owners association.

About Me

Calling in the Contractors

Hello! My name is Andy and I have recently finished building my dream home by the ocean. I have always loved swimming and surfing in the sea so the idea of living by the beach has always appealed to me. I used to live in a small apartment but I worked hard and saved as much cash as I could. By the time I reached the age of 47, I finally had the funds to build my dream home. I called in a team of construction contractors who built my house. They were really great guys and I picked up a lot of knowledge during the months they were working with me. I will share some of the knowledge here.
